I've posted periodically on my journal, and scan through regularly, but haven't had much time for posting since school started. I cut my hours back at work to be home w/ the kids in the afternoon, which strangely makes me busier both at work AND at home!!!
I hit 30 pounds today!!! Woo-HOO!!!
It's been slow coming, mostly because I've had to learn some hard lessons along the way, but at the pounds have come off so have years and years of food and emotional baggage. It's amazing and renewing!
Saw my Doctor last week, and she is thrilled with the loss and with everything else. I complained a bit about how I feel like POO when I eat anything refined and sugary, and she smiled and said, "negative reinforcement is a bitch, huh?" Basically- that stuff is just bad and I've had it in my system for so long that I couldn't tell the difference. Now a couple of bites of brownie and I have a headache, get dizzy, and feel queasy for hours. NOT fun! But, it helps me to stay on track!!!
Still having a little hair loss and wonky TOM, however, she said that was normal for large weight loss and it will stabilize. Sigh...
LOVING my NEW size Large (not XL, not XXL!!!) sweaters and 14 jeans. SO LOVELY!!! I will never ever EVER shop in Plus sizes again!!! Who KNEW there were so many choices out there for what to wear and buy? Crazy!!!!! The only thing slowing me down is that I hope to be even smaller by New Years!
