I was never a big fan of them, but every once in a while. I always thought they made the fried soggy, so when people go them, I looked at them funny.
But, I made turnips in the oven the way I usually make them. Just sliced them up, mixed in some spray olive oil and let them cook with spices on them...lots of garlic, of course.
Then, on the other half I decided to cook them with some cumin and chilli powder and garlic. When they were coming out of the oven, I sprinkled on McCheese.
Not bad. Add a little ketchup. I had some with an ostrich burger...mmmm
