Chili

Postby SDavis » March 9th, 2004, 2:56 pm

Here I am on my 5th day and doing good. Had a little slipup Sun evening with a few spoons of whip cream of the top of a pie (oops) but the big victory is that I did not just sit down and eat the whole pie!!
I thought that you guys would get a hoot out of this. On day 1 , I was having chili and thought you just dumped in it hot water like the other soups. So I sat on my couch eating crunchy watery gross 'chili'. So today I think I will try it again (I mean like what else it there:) and actually see there are directions that make pretty darn good chili!
The amazing news is that I actually ate the chili the first time:)

Hi Sarah,

:puke:

I sure can relate!

The first time I made the cream of broc, I thought 'they expect me to eat this #@*^%$#??????

Now I add 1T onion, 2T cabbage, some chicken bouillon, Mrs. Dash and fresh ground pepper, and IT IS GOOD!

:eat:
It's all in the upgrade as far as I'm concerned.

Hi Sarah,
There's another forum section called 'lean cuisine' that has a lot of fixer-upper ideas. That's where I got mine.
