Chili Recipe

Postby electra000 » April 18th, 2006, 3:10 pm

I got this Medifast Chili recipe today from the Medifast Newsletter. It sounds pretty good. I have not tried it yet. Here it is:

MEDIFAST CHILI RECIPE:

Take 6 packets of the Medifast Chili, 3 cups of water, 2 tablespoons of chili powder and 1 tablespoon of (Knorr) Calso de Tomate (it's a mexican seasoning with tomato bouillon and chicken bouillon in it). Cook in crock-pot on low for 2 hrs. Separate into 6 individual servings and refrigerate. When you heat it up you'll want to add a little more water as it's pretty thick.

The recipe say's that it counts as one Medifast meal and one snack.

I do not know why it would also count as a snack though??

Just thouht I would share this. ;) Terri

Probably because to be exactly precise the bouillon counts as a snack :?

Jan's right. One cup of bouillon is a snack on the plan so you would have to count it in. Sounds like a good recipe, though.
