Chicken & Wild Rice Soup

Postby kmr » September 21st, 2006, 9:51 am

I just tried the chicken and wild rice soup. It's delicious and has pieces of actual real food in it! I only ordered a sample pack because when I tried the cream of broccoli soup, I didn't like it. So I thought I wouldn't like any of the soups, but I will definitely be adding this to my next order! I like soups this time of the year when it starts to get chilly.

JeepGirl,
I'll have to try a sample pack of the hot cocoa now that you've mentioned it. I forgot that M.F. has the cocoa. Thanks for the reminder! It was chilly here too in this part of PA this morning 45. It warmed up nicely though. It's in the 60's now and sunny.

Soups are delicious

Postby Harmony » September 21st, 2006, 11:18 am

I love the soups - especially the minstrone and chicken wild rice. I usually add a 1/2 cup of celery and some mushrooms to each of them. One of the soups is my lunch each and every day. Oh yes, I add a touch of tabassco sauce too!

Thanks KMR...I have been on the full fast over 2 years ago and I was allowed the following:

Freebies:
Bouillon -2 cups/day (MBT or Wyler’s are favorite brands and come in cubes or instant broth packets)
Dill Pickles- 2/day
Celery Sticks dipped in salt- 3 stalks/day
Medifast Fast Soups
Medifast Crackers- 1 pack/day
Diet Sodas
Crystal Light (a fav, and great flavoring for shakes!)
Sugar-free Jello- small serving

I was just going to add a few mushrooms to my soups even though it is not on the list.

I save the lean and green meal for when I go out to eat with my family and I am trying to cut back on eating out until I can get some of this weight off.

Thanks for all your help and encouragement.

Marge....I think your previous post was meant for JKSRN, not KMR, but good luck with the program anyway!
