Chicken Noodle Soup SAVED MY LIFE...

Postby MusicalMomma » January 21st, 2006, 2:48 pm

OK...not really ;) but it saved me from ripping into a subway sub!!!! Today my daughter and I went shopping...one of our stops was a super walmart. They have a Subway at the entrance. Well, we walked in and there was that heavenly aroma that I had taken for granted so many times before!!! I made it into the store and passed Subway by...BUT on the way out...I was DROOLING over that aroma...I could have eaten two twelve inche turkey sub's with NO problem. It took every ounce of strength I had, but we kept right on walking to the car. We got home and I made my chicken noodle soup with a pack of mf crackers...let me tell you...that tasted like a little bit of heaven to me and now I am SOOOO glad I resisted the subway demon!!! :D

YAY!!! To people who havent dealt with being overweight, they wouldn't see this as an accomplishment, but being there myself, I am so proud of you! It's so hard to walk on by, but... we're doing it!

Great job Momma! I've been in three malls this weekend and have had to divert my eyes from the Mrs. Fields Cookies, Orange Julius/DQ, etc. I know from experience how challenging it can be, but doesn't it feel great when you tough it through the temptation?! Makes my daily caramel nut bar all the more enjoyable.

Keep up the great work!!

I think we all know how hard it is to pass up something, especially when it smells awesome. Congratulations on not giving in to temptation!!!
