whipping folks into shape here, the program is different from any others and it takes a while to figure it out. dlr2424 is right, we all learn from one another and the cool thing is this - you've given us a great idea for maintenance.
It's hard to know what people might include in their salad, the addition of a small amount of lettuce only to a packet of Chicken Noodle soup most likely wouldn't contribute to the meal total very much in terms of carbs and certainly not calories but for some people with

donkey-metabolisms it could be the difference between holding on or letting go of some weight. Some of us have a very resistent metabolism from all the years of yo-yo dieting and we must fight hard for every pound!
