I would check the ingredients. It may have fillers and/or added oil or other assorted gunk in there.

Okay, I went ahead and checked the site. This is the ingredients:

Ingredients: Chargrilled chicken breast filet containing up to 18% solution of water, seasoning (sugar, salt, dextrose, garlic powder, onion powder, maltodextrin (corn based), autolyzed yeast extract, spice, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate flavor, paprika [color]), seasoning (salt, sugar, spices, and paprika), butter flavored vegetable oil (partially hydrogenated soybean oil, palm kernel oil, lecithin, artificial flavor, TBHQ, beta carotene), rice starch and potassium phosphate, tomatoes, green leaf lettuce, pickles (cucumbers, water, vinegar (grain source varies), salt, contains less than 1% of the following: calcium chloride, alum, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate [preservatives], natural flavors, polysorbate 80, Yellow #5, blue 1).

The site also has the calories info for just the filet (no buns or pickles): 100 calories, 1.5 g fat, 2 g sugars, 21 g protein. 610 mg sodium.

This is from their web site:

Thanks bk and Scrabbler for the info...

Why not just buy some fresh or frozen skinless boneless chicken breasts and bake - cut wedges of cabbage, plunk a chicken breast on top, season and drizzle with vinegar or Zesty Fat Free Kraft Italian Dressing or Medifast Creamy Italian Dressing and semi-wrap in foil or broil seasoned breasts in the oven or grill on a George Foreman - it is fast and doesn't have the sugar, corn syrup or preservatives of the ChikFila chicken sandwich you describe plus you don’t pay for the bun, packaging or risk contamination by poor food handling. You can prepare several servings at home with the correct serving size and then have them handy and good to go.

We love to stir fry chicken breasts - we spray the pan with Pam, add a little soy sauce, ginger, garlic, green onions and mushrooms. Once they are nice and browned, we set them aside, add the chicken breasts to the pan and quickly stir fry them - use a wooden spoon to tear them apart or shred them as they cook. We serve it with stir fried green beans or with a big green salad. We make enough to last several days and it is good cold or hot.

Nancy, I'm sorry but I cannot resist in my funny mood not to laugh at the connection between breasts and Pam. What is it with me lately? Drop 20 pounds and get a one track mind. Maybe it is because I am a Pamela Anderson body wannabe.

Well if ya want some Pamela Andersons or Dolly Partons of your own, you'll have to spray yours regularly with Pam to keep hands off of them, to keep them from sticking...

:puter: Yup, I know all about that forgetting to sign in business...I have my 'puter set up to auto log and when it crashed a while ago, :hmmm: I no longer had auto log (didn't realize it of course) and posted away with a "Guest" title...

No worries! At least you recognized it yourself and didn't have Unca come in to your office with a hammer in his hand for noggin' noogies!

I saw that new BK sandwich, too-- it's incredible. Can you imagine consuming half your daily calories in one sitting (or, by MF standards, ALL your daily calories???) Oh wait. I *can* imagine it... I used to do it!!!

One article I read said the new 780-calorie egg-and-cheese-and-bacon-filled sandwich was like "food porn." Too funny! I mean, it *is* obscene to sell such a thing. Even for those people (really really active and tall people???) who can eat that many calories without getting fat can certainly get those 780 cals from somewhere a little less fat-laden... They could have 31 cups of salad instead!

I'm proud of myself, though, for not even *wanting* to run out any buy myself one of those, as I would have 6 months ago. Yay US!!!

I heard that commercial for the first time as I was drifting off to sleep last night and my eyeballs popped open and I said to my hubby - did they say 700+ calories in a breakfast sandwhich???? I could not believe they would even think about making such a product. I eat that ALL DAY now! Wow. It will be a sad day when I am out at rush hour (not often) and see a line at BK and know what those people are there for.

Well, maybe that just means more friends for us on this forum pretty soon!

I hope that whoever eats one of those gut bombs has Medifast Plus Coronary Health shakes for the rest of their meals that day!
