Lizabette,

I remember when you joined the forum and stated that you wanted to reach your goal before your 60th anniversary. At the time, I remember thinking that you would be lucky to make it. Well, it wasn't luck at all, it was sticking to the program and keeping that goal in your sights.

You look so good in your new leopardy suit! And you and hubby make a lovely couple.....then and now!

I'm half way to my 60th anniversary.....married young, just like you. It gets better every year.

You are a true example of how MF can be successful. You two are a match made in heaven. Congrats on celebrating your 60th anniversary. I celebrate 12 years on the 8th of Oct.

JO, Thanks for the lovely compliments! It really wasn't "luck", you know, but more like "stickability".
I remember quoting the story of the "Tortoise and the Hare" several times with some of my more speedy metabolic MF friends.
Since you mentioned the leopardy suit, well, guess what, it is a knit sweater that I found at Cracker Barrell.
It was a huge bargain at 70% off and I had to have it (in honor of our NANCY). I love bargains, don't you know?
Anyway, I wanted to show you the leopard cat on the side of the sweater. The cat has blue rhinestone eyes and necklace.
Darling, isn't it? And I love the compliments when I wear it! Here it is:

SOJI, You're so nice, even when you're fussing at me!
I love your humor and your positive attitude.
Besides that, you are too beautiful for words!
I have no doubts that you will reach whatever goal you strive for!

LORI, Congratulations on your 12th wedding anniversary in a couple days!
I believe matches are made in heaven, but they definitely need a little nurturing from us earth people!

You are a wonderful, beautiful person, inside and out! You continue to inspire myself and so many others in all that you do and say.

You started this journey shortly after I did, and you have been with me all the way!
Even got to meet your babies, Joey and Allie. And introduced them to my Allie and Meg.
You are amazing... losing over 80# with only 31# to go.
That is phenomenal! If anyone should be proud, it should be you!!!!

I haven't been able to get on the board a lot lately or even read many posts; but I did read this one and I just wanted to say again what a beautiful person you are inside and out.

You are truly an inspiration as a christian, woman, wife, mother, grandmother and medifaster!!! When I don't have a lot of time there are certain posts I will make a point of reading and yours are always one of them.

Congrats Lizabette and your hubby is one blessed man!!

Just checking back on my 60th GOAL POST, and read your kind words.
WOW, it is so great to be able to say that I reached my goal...on about August 30 (four months ago)...
but it is even greater to say that I have maintained under goal all that time!
So both of you can and will do it too, with the desire and commitment to follow through.
It is so DOABLE and so WORTH IT!
