okay -- i don't have the maple grove yet, (will check out their web site tomorrow -- it's just getting too late now) but i WILL go to the store tomorrow to get some non-marinated chicken breasts, I have some sliced baby bellas already, and various canned tomatoes and some of the naturally fresh vinagrette i got since i just love their ranch\.... sounds awesome! I may cook up some spinach to be sure I am getting enough veggies. thanks for the recipe!

Got a great start this morning as it was my weighin day and I am back to 22 pounds lost! woo hoo!!! going to try to get those other 3 lbs off so i can end this week in the 20s.

I did great on my water, back to my normal (I normally drink twice the amount needed) amounts and visiting that throne more often! Can only attribute it to the stress yesterday, which is now all gone!

and, oh yeah, Robin, i FINALLY drank one of the RTDs! I had stuck them in the refrigerator to get them cold and just forgot about them! I loved it! And talk about convenient! That will be part of my monthly order~!

I believe I am going to start listing my food items here as well to keep accountable -- Nancy mentioned it in Julia's thread and I like that!

Today:
7-chai latte
10-caramel bar
12-chicken breast & salad with ranch dressing (ate out)
3-hot cocoa
6-hot cocoa w/SF caramel syrup
9-chocolate RTD

Tomorrow's Plan:
7-hot cocoa (drinking that up since it is on sale this month!) :)
10-chocolate bar
1-chicken noodle soup
4-cappucino
7-L&G (chicken breast w/shrooms, maters, viniagrette sauce), spinach
9:30-hot cocoa or pudding (depends on how cold I am)

Sounds good, and it IS good to keep track like that, I think. (BTW, I was thinking today, and I think the chicken would also be good with zucchini instead of the artichoke hearts. I'm going to try it this weekend. I was also thinking of using some of the Maple Grove Farms lemon-rosemary marinade I told you about instead of the vinaigrette. Seems like it'd be good.)

And that's great about being back down to where you were. So it was just a little detour, and the important thing is you're back on plan.

Glad you liked the RTD, too. They're SO convenient.

Have you tried the Wish Bone salad spritzers? They are 1 calorie a spray and for a serving size of TEN Sprays it is only 1 carb. I love the red wine vinaigrette.

I LOVE the spritzers! I even use it for a mini marinade before my lean goes on the George Foreman!

OK, that explains why I have a whole shelf of the stuff. I kind of remember ordering as much of it as I could find on the Web when I heard it was being discontinued.

I love the balsamic vinaigrette the best (try to get the sugar-free and not the fat-free; there's not a LOT of difference, but there's enough that it's preferable BUT be really sure it's the balsamic and not the "Italian balsamic," which has a ton of fat). I also like the Greek feta dressing (there's a fat-free version with 3 grams of carb per serving). And the hickory barbecue sauce, if they still make it. I think those are the main ones I use.

Oh, and they make an asiago and garlic that's really, really good. I think it's 3.5 grams fat and 1 gram carb per serving.

Thanks Robin!

Wow! I have been SO incredibly BUSY!!!! I cannot believe everything that seems to be happening all at once -- both work and personal life have just gone a little nuts right now. BUT, the awesome news is that I finally broke my plateau!!!! I am down a pound from pre-turkey day weight! 231, which means I need to lose 2 more pounds by Sunday to reach my goal of 220s by then. I so think I can do it, even with my ornament exchange on Saturday. I am bringing ham and turkey (i will be chowing down on the turkey!), and my friend Linda is bringing a veggie tray with low fat ranch for me, so I am all set! I am so mentally prepared for this party as I do not want to screw up all that I have lost again!

Having a long day today as I had to get up at 4am to get to walmart before work, and have bible study tonight ~

Today's Meals:
6 - cappucino
9 - chocolate bar
12 - chili
3 - tropical punch with diet dr pepper
6 - chicken & salad
9 - vanilla pudding with lemonade crysal light
water goal: my normal 8-10 16.9 oz ozarka bottles
***need to remember to take my vitamins***

I am SO SO incredibly grateful for MF!!!!!! :cleader:

Great job, casma !! It's definitely a very helpful thing to stay on track eating-wise, even when everything else is going nuts all around you. And, you are *SO* smart for thinking ahead with the party. That is how it's done, folks ! Keep up the great success !

Cheers,
Karli

Karli said everything I wanted to. Planning is definitely key for the Holiday parties! Mine were last Saturday and it took some doing, so I'm so proud of you!
