JOELI,

How about re-posting the recipe in case we missed it earlier. (I like it hot, also!) Thanks!

Not a big fan of the Chai Latte either  Anyone have any ideas on how to make it more palatable? There is way too much nutmeg or something in there!

Sure thing!

This was done in my Magic Bullet.
6-8ozs of water
1 pkt of Cappuccino
Ice

Blend and pulverize in MB until all the ice is crushed. ;)

I'm not a very creative person...can you tell?

I wasn't big on the Chai Latte either. But I'll try it again at a later date.

Thanks, JOELI,

Yes, I want to try this soon. Have you tried it hot on a chilly morning?

I mix it in my HB Drinkmaster (any mixer will do)
1 pkt. cappuccino
1 C very hot water (blend together til frothy)
Add 1 C hot freshly made coffee
Flavoring - s/f syrup (caramel, vanilla, kaluah or other)
Mix & pour into a huge 16 oz stainless thermal mug. Dash of Nutmeg.
I make it last as long as possible and sip & sip.

I have done the Chai Latte the same way. Good too!
Thanks,

Lizabette

I also found the Chai Latte too spicy (kind of tastes like cloves to me). Here is what I do now, and I love it:

In large mug (16 oz minimum), add Chai Latte, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp INSTANT decaf tea powder, regular not lemon (I use Lipton's...found in a glass jar in the tea and coffee section). Mix with 16 oz hot water.

This dilutes the spice and replaces some of the "clovey" taste with cinnamon taste. The instant tea keeps it from being too watery tasting when adding the extra water.

ENJOY,
LINDA

CLOVES!!!!! THAT IS WHAT IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!! :puke: I've never really liked cloves!!!! Never wanted on my ham...nope, nope, nope....yuk! No wonder it is strong to me.

I thought of adding regular tea to it but wasn't sure. Thanks for the advice Linda - I'll try it.

This may or may not help. My favorite chai tea is to mix up a vanilla shake and add some DaVinci Chai Latte flavor. This can be warmed up or it can be iced. Yum, yum!
