I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!® Spray

Postby GucciGoo » May 3rd, 2006, 5:24 am

Has anyone used this? It tastes just as yummy as butter, but with ZERO calories, fat, carbs..... See below. I would love to be able to use this on my veggies. I don't see why something with zero everything can be wrong!

It is fine to use but don't use too much as I am sure there are trace calories in it but I have found that a couple of sprays goes a long way!

So lisa, are you saying I shouldn't be taking the top off and pouring it on? :dooh:

but yes, beachbaby, lisa is right, it does contain trace calories so don't go overboard.

I have actually considered doing that in my Medi-oatmeal.

When I was on Jenny Craig, they limited your usage to five sprays as being one serving. If you used more than three servings then you had to count is as your one "extra" for the day. Probably a good guideline.

Sounds yummy. I'm afraid though, because I'm the "pull the cap off the bottle and pour it on" type!

I have this stuff, just got it recently. Five sprays is the serving size, so it's still 0's. It tastes better than molly mcbutter and has less sodium so it's all good. :) No you wouldn't want to be opening it and pouring, I think that would probably taste rather nasty and not like butter at all.

I like this stuff but have found that if you spray it on all at once by the time you get to the bottom of the veggies there's no taste left. So I squirt, eat, eat, eat, squirt, eat, eat, eat, and repeat :D

I've been using it for years....in fact, my normal-weight husband and teenage daughters use it instead of butter on their veggies....we all actually PREFER the taste believe it or not!

Hi everyone. Yup, it is some yummy stuff but be very careful how much you use. I was dumping it on like crazy thinking it's no cals and all. My weight loss slowed way down and then one week, despite being completely compliant, my weight starting heading up and so I started looking at everything I was doing. In doing so I looked up the info on the ICBIB butter spray and here is what I found.

12.5 sprays is 10 cals and 1g fat
25 sprays is 20 cals and 2g fat
37.5 sprays is 30 cals and 3g fat

for the whole bottle, (and you may want to sit down for this) the whole bottle is 900 calories with 90g fat.

So, spray carefully!

Yeah, I couldn't believe it myself and was so very disappointed as I love the stuff. It would have been fine if I could have kept to just a few sprays but unfortunately that just isn't possible for me with some things. Definitely something I'm working on!
