Can't Believe It First Week Done

Postby mytime » July 2nd, 2005, 9:30 am

Well I cannot believe the first week is over - it went very quickly ! I have decided to weigh daily and post weekly - I cannot for the life of me figure out how to put a Ticker on here - but a close friend is going to help me next week. I started Saturday June 25th at 247 and weighed 232 this morning. 15 pounds lost - I really cannot believe it. To think I spent the six months prior on Atkins and lost 13 - I even went to the MD to have my hormones checked - MF is such an amazing blessing in my life and as much as I love it this would not have been possible without the posts and support of each of you - thank you !!! Here is to our continued success ! Mytime

Mytime - YEAH!!! :yay:

Isn't MF the best!! And this only the beginning - just think who awesome you'll look and feel by holidays.

For the Ticker - go to tickerfactory dot com and follow the prompts to choose your ticker. When you're dong you copy the "bbcode" and paste it into your signature on the forum profile. The tickers are so great!!

Keep up the good work

WOW!!!! mytime!!! What an awesome first week!! I know you've got to be super excited!! It's great to lose so much & best of all - not starving while you're at it. I love MF too....I actually feel like I'm eating more than I ever ate before! I was a one meal (sometimes 2) a day eater for years, which I now know is terrible for metabolism, which is probably why it has always been so hard for me to lose weight.

I've been reading your posts and am excited for your victorious beginning!! Keep up the great work & you'll reap the rewards!!

I was going to tell you about the ticker thing too....but Emma explained it pretty well. Believe me....I'm not much of a computer gem myself, so if I could figure it out, then I think you can too. Emma 's directiions are clear enough. After you choose which ticker you like - then you copy the whole code for it and then you go to "Profile" here on the forum and there's a place for your "signature" and that's where you paste the code that you copied - and you choose the bbcode place to put it. Well - good luck!

Emma and FatBgone - thank ou both so much I am excited and a little bit afraid - I know there will be weeks with no loss. But for now I am really just more in shock I had hoped - dreamed , but 15 seems llike a huge blessing - THANK GOD FOR MF !!!! I have been reading your posts as well and feel really grateful to have both of you here.

I notice you are both in pound clubs. I will have to ask the Unca person to put me in #10 club -I cannot believe how much a difference a supportive, understanding non-judgemental support system makes. I had a birthday party at my home today and prepared and provided all of the food - even cut the cake and not a lick of frosting - not really even a desire to. Unreal. Hope everyone's weekend is going well I will be reading and posting like crazy - hope you will too. Mytime

AWESOME!! 15lbs WOW!

You are like me, you need a support system and people to "report" to that won't be judgemental. That is what I love about this place too. Way to go and keep it up.

Atkins is probably okay for some people, but I like that with this I don't have to think, I can lose and learn then take care of myself at the weight I want to be - instead of struggling so to just lose the weight, much less be healthy at it!!!

Mytime, Great start. You are doing so well. MF is like the "Worlds Greatest" kept secret. I wish I had known about MF years ago.Perhaps I would have started before I got this big. But anyway, I 'm glad I'm here now.

Can anybody tell me how to add my little picture, so you can see me and know who you're talking with. I've tried many times and nothing works.

Mytime, that is fantastic!!! 15lbs GONE !!!! YAY!

I thought too, that I might have weeks where I haven't lost any, but so far, my highest was 7lbs (first week) and lowest was 1lb. So I have yet to encounter a plateau, but DH is on week 3 and has hit a plateau, and his first week was -13lbs. So you just never know. All I know is celebrate any and all losses and vow to never see those pounds again!!!!!!!!!
