The RE Starter, I have been on and off 3 times since I fell off in April, I was going strong and doing so well and BAM just like that for some reason I lost the will to go on.. I'm so regretful now and hope that this is my calling.... I'm so frustrated I wanted to be down at least 50-60 by my birthday but NOPE not happening.. I still have time to at least drop 20-30 by Nov 19th I think and I will take that if I can have my 50-60 for Christmas... Please lead me in the right direction and steer me straight... Biki is such an inspirational person and has a remarkable story she was overcoming so much while on plan and that's outright amazing now if she could just pass that bug along it would GREAT! I can and will do this....

You are truly an inspiration I can't wait to start feeling better, I'm trying something new and that's chewing sugarless gum and I think that will help me, BTW do you happen to remember our daily limit on gum?

I think it's 5 sticks, but don't worry about that in the beginning.

You too are such an inspiration I was telling my niece about all the wonderful people here on the forum and I was showing her all the pics in the studio of all the weight ya'll lost and we even had a little chuckle about what your grandson said because I still laugh to this day everytime I see your picture in a thread because of what he said, kids are priceless.... Well thanks again for your input and inspiration...

Not only CAN you do it, but this time you WILL do it! I fought my family for a long time because I swore there was just no way that I could stick to the plan. I have one BIG HUMUNGO sweet tooth and I crave chocolate bars and ice cream like crazy. When I finally gave in and started MF, I realized that I had made an investment in myself (this coming from a woman who rarely spent money on herself - and always spends on someone else). That investment was the first thing that kept me on plan. When I lost 10 pounds in the first week, that kept me on plan for the following week. Every week after that I lost another 10 pounds and what more incentive did I need? Well this week I only lost 4 pounds, BUT I ran into some folks that didn't know about my new life style. The daughter is about 14 and she just kept looking at me real strange like (up and down and up and down). Well they walked away and then came back a little later and I asked them if they noticed anything. The mom said that the daughter asked her when they walked away if she had noticed all the weight I had lost. I almost cried because that was the first time someone outside my family said anything. It felt great and will get me through the next week.

Sorry this is so long, but what I am getting at is that you can find inspiration in the littlest things. You NEED to. When you can't you just jump on MMT and look for it here. If that doesn't work then you just PM or email me and I will give you that loving kick in the pants to get you through.

YOU WILL SUCCEED THIS TIME!!!!!

Rodeo Mom,

Thanks a million you have been chiming in on almost all my posts and that's so inspirational in itself, I just cant wait to get under 200 I finally weighed myself tonight becuase forgot to this morning and it says 242.5 so we shall see I will wait until next sunday to weigh myself for the roll call and hopefully the plan won't let m down, I had chipotle for dinner tonight almost burned my tongue off but was compliant and even had a bottle of water..... I'm so stoked about it like I was in Feb this year I stayed on for a month and 2 weeks and then just blew it all to sand and still can't think back and figure out why GRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is all I can say this point. So here i am and I hope to have at least lost or be close to losing 25lbs by my birthday which is Nov 19th... Well enough rambling on and I have been reading some things in the elevator section and re-reading your posts and it will get me through and it's not that I can't it's that I won't....

Thanks again in a million, trillion ways!

Good luck blondangel! It was the success stories (Jo and Lauren in particular) that made me change my mind from lapband to Medifast. There are lots of encouraging people on this board that will help you get thru those tough spots. I have restarted myself so I know what you have been through and how hard it is to get past those first three days again. Look forward to hearing more from you and following your progress.

Hey blondeangel,

Welcome back.
I can soooooooo relate to the RE RE RE RE RE thing.
But we're both done with restarts, now it's on to reaching goal and maintaining.

It's great to have mini-goals, and I hope you reach all of yours.
Just remember, however long it takes, we'll stick to the plan and eventually reach our goal!!!

Your birthday goal sounds very reasonable! Just stay compliant and we'll see what happens! :) If for whatever reason you slip up, that is no excuse to not get right back on that horse and charge towards your goal! This disappearing act of yours must be getting old for you. You can always come back here but it is easier if you just STAY. Just do it!

Oh Biki & LA you are so right, I'm no longer a re-starter I'm in it for the long haul that's for sure... I got on the scale this morning just to make sure it's working and low and behold the scale was my best bud this morning -5 since monday... I was so good last night and though this morning about how Rodeomom was talking about the BEC Bagel @ Mcd's so to satisfy my crave to buy something from Mcd's I bought a small coffee with 3 cream and 3 splenda and a bottle of water. Oh and let me tell you the stop off was worth it I ran into my husband while there he was pulling in to meet another service driver as I was leaving so before he could say much I told him I just stopped for coffee and water and he said Uh Huh lets see and I passed inspection None of that stuff for me anymore... Also I have noticed that since I'm not big into Fast Food anymore that my skin is getting dryer and my face is less oily which is great because i have always had acne issues but I noticed my las time on MF it was better :-)
