I most likely will get blasted for this, but I still wanted to share. With hubby going on plan and "snacks" not being a "neccessary" part of the plan I most definatly try and find ways to save money on the snacks.
I have enough flab left to take whatever beatings come my way but here goes.
Also, I am NOT recommending anyone do this or not... that is your choice!
I am just sharing what I am doing SNACKWISE and showing a comparison between two excellent products.
I found some Genisoy Soy Crisps in the store the other day. I got a 3.5 oz bag for $2.69 which breaks down(the way I do it-will explain further) into approx 7 servings.
Rich Cheddar Cheese Flavor(love them) are wayyy comparable too mf soy crisp in every aspect.
The serving size is listed as 25 crisps and what I have done is count out 12 and 1/2 crisps and baggy them up separately.(yes I actually break a crisps in half)
Halving the nutritional info puts that info as follows:

Serving Size: 12.5 crisps

50 calories
1 g fat
0 cholesterol
160 mg sodium
7 g carb
