I'm so bummed...no soy crisps

Well tie me to the post also...

After I tried the MF soy crisps I saw the Genisoy crisps at the store also.

I bought a bag thinking if they don't compare than it would be a good snack for the hubby who is not on mf... after checking out the nutrients and stuff, I saw that they were very comparable, so I did the same thing, bagged them into baggies and have used them as snacks. Only had two bags so far, but they are great. I tried the parmisian flavored and they really are good, the other 5 packs will be gone soon cause hubby is also eating them.....

Glad I am not the only one looking for a little "cheaper" alternative to the snacks that both me and my dh can enjoy.

I never use the medifast snacks. I buy generic fat free saltines to replace the crackers as well. If I use half of the recommended serving of 6 crackers, it ends up being more product, and it is less in every major nutritional catagory than the medifast version.

I picked up some soy crisps at the store yesterday. I found the Genisoy version to be kind of bland, but I bought another brand called Stacy's that was wonderful. They are called "Thin Soy Crisps" and the nutritional stats are pretty much even. The only difference is that because they are thinner, the recommended amount is 20 crisps, so you are allowed 10 if they cut them in half.

That version is much more flavorfull...especially the sweet BBQ style. I also tried the white cheddar and it is very good as well. I think the thinner size allows for a better flavor.

Well, my autoship order showed up today...and somebody's going to HAVE to take these things away from me...I can see a PROBLEM happening! I've ONLY had the apple cinnamon crisps and the rest are going over to my Dad's house!

Well, I've tried all three flavors and I really like the Apple cinnamon and Ranch best. The cheddar was so-so. The Ranch reminds me of ranch-flavored Doritos! They are really GREAT but I haven't had a problem eating only one bag a day. They are a great alternative for a MF snack and I'm happy to have the variety. :D
I give them a BIG :thumbig:
