4C brand-Totally Light 2 Go

Postby Ct. Yankee » April 7th, 2006, 10:07 pm

Hi All!

I have been trying to increase my daily water amounts, having been someone who lived on and for coffee all her life. I found this product which is added to a 16.9 oz bottle of water. It has 0 calories and 0 carbs, and only has 20mg sodium and 30mg Potassium. It comes in 'sticks' which you add to water and shake. It has been on TV, as Crystal Light has a product, which has approx. 12 calories, and no sodium or Potassium in it. Sometimes, I struggle trying to get the last bottle of water in, and I was wondering if this might be legal, say for one of the four bottles I drink each day. I have only been able to get 64 oz in each day which is pretty sad, when I read of others doing so much better. Any opinion on the 4C or the Crystal Light? Thanks! :?:

They say those Crystal Light type things are fine, as long as you STILL have 64 ounces of pure, unadulterated water a day. So you can have these in addition to, but not instead of, your 64 ounces.

Water drinking DOES get easier. I switched from pretty much only Diet Coke to just water a few years ago (before Medifast). It took awhile, but now I only have Diet Coke maybe once a month, if I'm out.

Yup, what Robin said! I also had problems with all the water at the beginning, but I crave it now! Good luck and get at least 64oz of unadulterated water!

Thanks for the info. Sometimes, I think that the questions I ask are silly, but I am trying to get this program down pat, doing it the proper way, etc. So, please bear with me!

All of your posts are of such great help. I hope that someday, I will be able to help others as you are helping me.

There are no silly questions. We all were confused beginners once. I think for every question asked, there are probably at least 10 other people who WANTED to ask the question and didn't. So see, you've already helped them!!

Wal Mart

Postby gillian » April 8th, 2006, 11:59 am

WalMart has a sugar free carb free fruit punch that kicks booty. Add that to 16 oz. of bottled water and it will change your life. The only bad thing, is it is RED, and if you have a hole in your lip like I do, you will look like you dribbled on yourself. HAVE FUN!!

My hubby just started mf this week, and we are having the great water debate. i told him you still have to have the 64 oz of plain water in addition to anything else. Hes a Marine, tho...sometimes they think they know it all! :x (just kidding, just in case any Marines see this)

Well, the info on the Medifast website says that we need at least 64 ounces of water or non-caloric beverages daily, *preferably* water. The emphasis is mine.

If I can make a recommendation, try keeping some at room temperature. I've found that it is much easier to drink water when it isn't ice cold, especially when you are struggling to get enough in.

Personally, I've always drank a ton of water...but even so, I can drink a lot more when I don't use ice or keep it in the fridge. I may be different though.

I am the total opposite. I have to gag it down if it is room temp. I always throw my water bottle in the freezer long enough for ice to form in it and then I find it much easier to drink. Although it does make me really cold all the time!
