OK, I learned something new today about my little portable hamilton beach blender .....you may have already know this.

If you put the ice and water in first, then blend, the ice is almost like a snow cone. After that add you flavoring and supplment. It is much fluffier and tastes like a flavored icee.

All this time I have been mixing ice, water, supplements and flavoring at one time and it has been coming out crunchy.

I guess I learned something new today

COOL! We just bought one of these to take on a short road trip and I was actually afraid to put ice in it (I didn't have time to read directions before leaving, so I was playing it safe.) Anyway, I think my husband is going to take it to work and I'm printing out your post right now, so he can try that out!!!
