Just remember, you are allowed 1 (that's ONE) snack per day on the 5 and 1 plan. So, if you have 2 T PB2 (or 1 T regular peanut butter)... thats your snack.
I like the PB2 just fine. The fact that its lowfat works for me. I still love peanut butter also, and at times I go for crunchy instead of PB2, but lets remember that compliance is the key to the program (and I need to remember this as well).

That's a really good point. I forgot about it being a snack and started thinking of it as just a flavor additive. Thanks for the reminder!

I had bought several jars off of Ebay thinking I would really like it in my shakes and puddings, but I didn't. The best thing (for me) in a pudding is non-fat cream cheese (the reg is OK if you need the fat servings for the day). I add about 2 TBSP to a pudding with the reg amount of water. This really doesn't change the flavor, but REALLY changes the consistancy. Makes it much smoother. It also makes it freeze without becomeing a hockey puck. Sometimes I can even imagine that it is ice cream.

I am with ya on the choc and PB - that is why I thought I would goes wacko for the reg or PB2 in a pudding, but nope.

Worse comes to worse, I am sure someone here will trade ya Medigrub for it or you can sell it on Ebay. Most auctions go for right about the retail price from what I could tell.

Left ya a note in my journal. Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the cream cheese tip, Rodeo! One of my favorite things is to freeze the pudding, but I have to really watch it or it does become a puck! HaHa! I'll definitely pick up some fat-free next trip to the store. :D

2 days of 100% compliance down! I'm on a roll!

Yesterday was a challenge, tho! DH and I went out to eat at a local sports bar, and I forgot about their amazing french fries. Then we caught The Happening at the movies. I LOVE me some super buttery, salty popcorn! DH was my rock, though. I was about to cave to the corn, but he kept me on the straight and narrow! *phew!*

Congrats on day 2 (and making it through).

BTW... without spoiling... was The Happening worth it:?:

CONGRATULATIONS on the 100% compliance. As you know, I have know what you are going through trying to walk that line. For me - if I can make it a week, I think I will be back on track.

The price of the popcorn is my salvation - I just can't see spending what the theaters want for that stuff. We usually buy stuff at the dollar store and sneak it into the movies. Of course I wouldn't do that now, instead I take a bar, a zip baggie of veggies or a serving of MF crackers to munch on. No, it isn't the same as buttery pop corn, but if you can fake yourself into the PB2 there is hope that these substitutes will work too.

The Happening was just about what I expected it to be, so I wasn't disappointed. Troy didn't like it, though. It's only the second week it's out, and there were only 7 of us in the theater! I thought it had some good tension and scares, but the dialogue/acting was kind of stilted. I like the actors - especially Marky Mark and John Leguzamo - and they usually do a great job. Makes me wonder if it might've been the way they were directed...? Very predictable dialogue. Overall, I liked it, but Troy thought the premise was silly.

I'll definitely take soy chips with me next time!

Feelin' kinda spaced out and light-headed today. I got to bed kinda late last night, though. I've always been a night owl, but it might be that I'll need a little more sleep while I'm on the program hard-core. I feel like I'm kinda drifting over the work day, like my body's moving but my brain is standing still. Oooo .... college flashbacks ....

That funky feeling should only last the first 3 or 4 solid 100% compliant days. After that you should feel better than before. My energy level went way up after my body adjusted.

And the soy crisps were my favorite movie snack when they came out. They'd be just about as satisfying as the popcorn if only you were allowed a giant tub of 'em.

Congrats on staying OP!!! Feeling spacey huh? I can relate to that! Yesterday I was so tired all day, was so weird for me. Just one of those things I guess.
If my body didn't have to work on detoxing every few days it might help. 8)

I get the shakes right after a work out. I found that if I have my bar at that time I feel better. Make sure you are getting the water in too!
