BIG TIME MESS!

Postby mrlgrlad » April 20th, 2006, 11:19 am

 I'm telling you I thought I had things under control. I wigged out Tuesday when I had a bad sinus attack and was feeling down, stopped at Sonic (a fast food drive-in) and intended to order the grilled chick salad along with my childrens stuff and low and behold out of my mouth like a raging river came the words "double cheeseburger meal" with a diet coke! go ahead lol! I am. Do you ever speak and then think to yourself "did I say that or think that?" I am disappointed to say the least. I made it through easter day and then slipped 2 days later. I won't even tell you what I did when we got home and the easter baskets were sitting there!!!! UUUGHGHHGGGUUUUGH! Today I weighed as a sort of punishment and I was up 3lbs. I was almost in the 30# club and now poop!! Oh well just had to vent. I must say this journey is so much more enjoyable with you all to be a part of it.

Hi Amy. Those three pounds are most likely water weight. Stay on track and they will be gone in no time at all! Maybe even by tomorrow morning! Remember, this is a learning process and a journey. I totally relate to your story. I've done it myself. They key is to get RIGHT BACK UP and begin again...work through days 1-3 again until the cravings subside. We'll be here for you as you regain control :) You can do it!

It is time to put on your big girl panties (quoting my grandmother when I am whining about something) and get back with it. Just say NO to the temptations. Just say NO!! You are a winner and you are going to do this. Keep shakin!!

Hi

Postby dede4wd » April 20th, 2006, 10:13 pm

I still have tears in my eyes from the big-girl-panties post, but I'm going to try to type...

Okay, you slipped. Fine. It's over, it's done with. Nothing you can do about it. Period. It's over.

Now. Get back on the horse. I didn't come back last time and it took me a YEAR to get back on the program. I hope you weren't too sick after, and I hope you realized it wasn't worth it. When I cheated last year, I realized that it didn't taste as good as I remember. Nothing tastes as good as I feel today...crossing into onederland for the first time this millenium...

Now...next time you feel this coming on...come here and post and post and post until it goes away. If that doesn't work for me...I beat my head against a brick wall until the feeling (or consciousness) goes away, but I really wouldn't suggest that!

Anyway, get shakin' and you'll be okay!

We still love you!

Oh my... big girl panties  I'm going to definitely have to remember that when I start whining and feeling sorry for myself! I slipped up on my spring vacation and am still recovering from that so I know how you feel. One day will not stop your loss as long as you get right back on. Forgive yourself and keep going!!!
