I love your smile!!!! What a beautiful family. I had to be ordered to smile in my pictures by people on this board.

I admire that you are willing to post these now. I really didn't even have before pictures because I hid from the camera all the time. Litterally HID from the camera. You are a beautiful woman and are on your way to becoming a smaller beautiful woman!

Thanks so much! My Boys (DH and DSs) are part of the reason I am doing this, so I can be with them for a long time) but the other part is so I can fit in those cute clothes that they don't sell in large sizes!!!!!

I decided that I need to stop hiding. I don't want to every say I wish I had not hid. I know that I am going to lose this weight, and when I do I can say "this used to be me". I want to have these to show to my kids and friends that when you put your mind to it you can do it.

Guys, I have only been here for a few short weeks, but this forum is keeping me going so much! I am so glad all of you are here on this journey with me. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for posting. Believe me, I know how hard it is to post those before pictures. You're on your way and now it's just a matter of time until you'll be able to post progress.

And in a few weeks when you post smaller pics you will be an inspiration to all of us. You already are because you have shown you have the determination and committment to show who you really are. Not everyone has that.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for all of the encouagement. I must admit I am pretty happy!

I have an awesome husband and he is very supportive and encouraging. He will ask if I want him to go in another room if he is eating something I can't have. He always asks if I want him to make a shake or something for me. He knows I want this and even though he does not care about the weight, he knows I do. I also have great kids. The oldest is always asking how he can help. He tells me I am perfect but he will be happy no matter what size I am. Yes, he is only 6!

My husband's family is also very supportive and encouraging. Mine, not so much. They live in IL, but my mom and dad also have a house out here. They will be in for Christmas. I am not telling my parents or my sister because they are not supportive. My mom can be downright nasty, and my dad is okay but would tell mom. They can just see the end result. I would tell my sister, but she would tell my mom too. She is also pregnant and gained a ton of weight (her oldest just turned one so back to back babies) So, I decided not to tell anyone. My husband and I have been joking that mom won't even notice no matter how much weight is gone!

If you have read my journal you know that I have issues with my mom too so I know how you feel. Mine is supportive -- sorta, she just has a weird way of showing it I guess.

I am happy for you that you have the support of your husband and children. Knowing that they love you no matter what is such a precious gift.

You wil succeed! I just know it!!
