Before picture of Donna (doglover)

Postby doglover » April 2nd, 2005, 5:09 pm

Ok, the peer pressure got to me so here comes a "before" picture! I finally found one. I am not at my heaviest in this picture but pretty close. I was probably in the 160's.

This picture is my family arriving in the British Virgin Islands July 2004! We chartered a 38' catamaran sailboat for 17 days! Had a fabulous time!

Image

From left to right: My mother in law and father in law - My Dad and Mom - ME (in blue shorts) - my daughter Megan, my son Nathan and my DH Bill!

It doesn't show much of me but I do hide from the camera a bunch!!!

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Donna! My in-laws sail w/ us every year. We each have our own boats and we vacation together every summer! My parents live in a 40 ft. motor home (better equiped than my own house!) and travel w/ us often. This Nov. we will be going on a crusie to Mexico w/ them!

Anyway, we feel blessed to have such a wonderful, close family! And my daughter is now about 1/2" taller than me and even leaner! She is a knock-out!

Gooooooooooooooood morning Donna!! I just LOVE the picture place. I've been on aol for about 8 years now and so I've always traded pictures with the people I'm really getting to know. It just makes it all that much more real I guess. Your smile is radiant and quite frankly if I just looked at that picture and didn't KNOW you were on medifast I wouldn't have recognized a weight issue :) It's allllllllllll about our self image and how we see ourselves NEKKID in front of the mirror :hide: Regardless...you're beautiful and with a beautiful family! Just think about how cool this pictures will be THIS SUMMER!! WOOOHOOOO!!!
HUGS,
GOD BLESSED TEXAS!

with what has been said by someone else...I scanned the pic for the lady with the weight issue and couldn't find her! You must be exceedingly photogenic! :D Oh, and you have cute legs!

You guys are so nice! As I said, this is not me at my heaviest, but it is too heavy for how short I am! And I do have great muscle tone which is probably why I can carry a bit more weight! But soon I will NOT be hiding behind my daighter and avoiding cameras! I am getting there, inch by slow inch!

Thanks again friends!

Donna Doglover ~

I just found beautiful you! (I also see that you are 4 measley pounds from goal!)

Your before picture is so cool - you have red hair and such a smile-bringer you are! Your family looks like they are having the time of their lives and it is a blessing to love being together with one's family.

Shake it and then you'll sail it!

Thanks Nancy! Actually my daughter is the red-head. I have a blond/brownish look that will soon change! I am going to get highlights end of Aril to bring back some pre-baby blonde!

Yes as of last Sun I was 4 lbs form goal #1. But I have decided to try to get to 140 before Jamaica and still allow time to get some transition time in. We'll see how much closer I am on Sunday!

Welcome back!

Thanks Mary and congrat's to you too (I caught up on the forum this afternoon!)

One funny thing happened. I had put one of the PB Reeses eggs in the freezer at Easter for myself. I had told myself that once I reached my goal I would take small pieces of it in celebration. Well, today is that day and I have NO URGE to have it. I am so happy as believe me, this is a big deal! But I now want to get to 140 so bad I don't want to risk anything!

Thank you for always being so sweet and encouraging.
Your MF friend,
Donna
