The positive feedback is almost enough to make me swell right back up ...with hot air. lol

It is getting much easier to post pics and smiling is not as painful. lol Honestly, there are times in the past with photos that I thought I WAS smiling until I saw the photo, later on and it just looked like I was in pain.

What a treat it is for us to see your picture.

I sure can relate to the trapped feeling. It is strange how you don't even realize it at the time that you have put yourself under a sort of bondage to food. At first it is a comfort and then you become a slave to it.

My biggest downfall was anything with salt on it. I craved the salt - which now that I have been using the Medifast I no longer have cravings.

I went on an Alaska Cruise with my parents on their 50th Anniversary. At the end of the week they took pictures and posted them for everyone to see. When I found mine I as so embarrassed. I had bloated out like a Puffer Fish. You see I had eaten huge portions at each meal and then snacked on salted popcorn inbetween. I can not even look at my pictures because I looked so bad.

Now that I have reached my goal - I even pose for pictures for my family. Thanks to Medifast....

11 weeks in and 40 pounds gone in that amount of time on mf.

05/05/06
First one is 02/16/06 268pounds
second is approx. 11 weeks later. I really don't like holding the shirt up tight I still prefer veryyy baggy shirts, but to actually see the difference I had to snug it up(little more "upperstory" then I care to share but oh well thats me)


Taking these pictures along the way is hard but is also another majorly motivating factor for me at least.

Wow!! you can see a huge difference!!!

You are doing so good and only in 11 weeks. There is no other program out there that you could lose so much weight and inches in that short of a time period.

and yowza! I'm so glad you tugged on that shirt for us! The change in you is amazing! You look SO GOOD! You're totally motivating to the rest of us and so positive and you're doing SO WELL on the program! I'm so glad the purple shirt is "out of the picture!"

I'm the same way. I wore jeans that were too tight out with "the girls" last night and a fitted shirt and I was tugging on BOTH all night! I'm very uncomfortable in fitted clothing too but I hope to work on that phobia along with all my other issues. Geri kept saying to me, "those jeans don't LOOK tight", but I was still tugging on them so I totally relate!

You look GREAT and keep the pictures coming!!!

Thank you gals! Ya know when I don't do side by side's I really have a hard time seeing a difference..when I first looked at the "snugged" pic I was like EWWW!! Then I put them side by side and started acting crazy really, giddy and silly. My 10 year old daughter was like "Mom, You are SOOO WEIRD!" I tell her, "see what you have to look foward too" lol

And Vicky I can't even see the new avatar yet...maybe it will show up on this post for me..hmm. Anyway, yes that is me in both. When I use my webcam to take my own JUST FACE picture I am much more relaxed and it shows. I get all flustered, red and just plain freaky with a full body shot and a camera in someone else's hands..lol
Here is full size of the old avatar and the new one.. and yes I do soften the graniness out with photo editing software.(Gotta love photo editing)


Was it MEEEEE who said I hated having my pic taken? I think...I might...be getting over it!!! Bwahahahahah!
