Been away too long

Postby JustJeni » June 18th, 2006, 7:52 pm

I have to come clean and start fresh. As of tomorrow morning I will be starting MF plan like it was the first time I had done it. I haven't done MF 100% since The end of April. I have just been a piggy. I was at 197.4 and now I think I'm up and over 200 again. I know it was my own fault. I'm going to be 100% on MF for at least 6 weeks and see what happens. You'll be seeing more of me. Thanks......kick my butt a little! :o

I'm not sure kicking your butt would help. I am sure you have done enough of that on your own. I will just be glad to see you and I will encourage you any way I can.
Shake it up and loose it!

Jeni, I'm in the same boat as you. I too told myself that today I was starting fresh and I was going to stay 100% compliant for 30 days. I have been screwing around for too long. :x I could be so much farther along. I need a good butt kicking too! We can do this together. :buddies:

What did you learn about yourself?

Postby KimKim » June 19th, 2006, 8:43 am

Hi Jeni and ChiNut and everyone,

No butt-kicking here, although it's important for us to remind ourselves that discipline is important and produces such a tremendous amount of self-love and a sense of accomplishment when we follow through with commitments to better ourselves in the best possible manner.

I'm more curious about what you learned and since ChiNut chimed in about starting over and I've read other posts where people have "come back" and "restarted", I think it's important to talk about what happened "while you were gone".

What did you all eat?

Were you 'dying' to have your favorite foods or sugar or load up on carbs or did you find yourself "off plan" but still eating better than you had in the past?

What did you learn about yourself? Did you notice any new triggers, etc?

Thanks, just sharing, learning, etc.

The question is what did I NOT eat! I just started getting comfy under 200 and thought I could eat whatever....knowing that I can't! Then I just lost control and was a piggy and also went out to eat a lot. I'm now as I type back on track and I'm losing weight by the minute! :D :D

My problem was that I could not stay 100% compliant for more than a few days in a row and then I would eat something off plan. It would then take me a few days to be fully compliant again and the cycle would start all over. I even got a calendar and put happy face stickers on it for the days I was 100% compliant (great idea from my HA Jan) but even with that inspiration I still struggled. I want to see a happy face sticker on every day of my calendar for 30 days in a row. Got a sticker for today (day 1), yeah me!
