Postby big ron » February 11th, 2007, 12:29 pm

Since I have been gone two new products have appeared that I am interested in Scrambled eggs and beef stew.

I have read allot of positives on the eggs and I will be getting that but I am wondering about the stew. Has anyone tried it and if so comments??

Beef Stew is excellent too!! I'm not much of a soup person so I don't get it really, but the couple of packets that I have had were excellent. It had a bunch of stuff in it so it was very filling! Go ahead and order some and try it! 8)

Yup! I like the beef stew. I add a little garlic salt or garlic powder and a little pepper for more flavor. It's good!

The stew is wonderful and often serves as dinner when I have my L&G at lunch time. The stew definitely needs some "doctoring". I use an all-purpose seasoning or garlic powder, etc.

I never liked the chili or the minestrone but I LOVE the beef stew. I do add garlic pepper and salt...The eggs are also very good and the choc mint bars...WHEW...weee. I have a feeling those will save me on Valentines Day!

Glad to see ya back Big Ron!
Hugs,
Gina

Eggs are great. To me, the beef stew is probably the most filling product that I have had to date. The oatmeals are good, the eggs can be filling, but the stew does the most. Definitely doctor it up.. I add garlic, pepper, and grandmas chili powder.

Another "newish" product that is out that came out at the same time as the beef stew is the Vanilla pudding. Before it was just banana and chocolate.

I'm with Mike - I LOVE the stew - every afternoon at 4pm I makemyself a stew in a huge mug I have - and enjoy - seems to carry me through till the L& G at 7.30.

Vanilla pudding has also been known to make me smile in eager anticipation.

kind regards

Gavin

I'm still on the fence about the stew...I doctor it with onion and garlic powder and a dash of beef bullion....but I dont know if it's the texture or what, but I'm still unsure about it. Guess it's not my fav...but it's OK.

I love the stew. It's thick so it really makes you feel like you are eating something that will stick to your bones. I add salt, pepper and a splash of tabasco. As far as I am concerned, the eggs and the beef stew are two GREAT new editions.

I only wish that there were more "on the run" types of meals. The bars and the soy crisps are great...but I just wish there were a few more things. I did order the RTD's this time, so hopefully that will help on days I am out and about.
