BBQ Sauce

Postby GucciGoo » May 7th, 2006, 11:04 am

I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. I see that we can use a small amount of ketchup, mustard or BBQ sauce with out L&G. Doesn't BBQ sauce have sugar? Can we still use it? I could not find ANY sugar-free sauce at the grocery store.

What is that?

So can we use any BBQ sauce, or not?

Hi, BeachBaby,

Yes, we are allowed 1-2 TEASPOONS of any brand of barbecue sauce. However, I use Walden Farms which is zero carbs, zero sugar, etc.. and the taste is not bad at all, plus you can use a bit more of the Walden, too, so it goes farther. It is especially good on chicken. Hope this helps! :)

Thank you! I have a new bottle of Jack Daniels sauce I was hoping to break in! That will make my chicken more yummy!

Me, too. I try to avoid sugar whenever I can. I use the low-carb ketchup, too (Heinz 1-Carb).
