bacon bits

Greetings:

I'm just checking out all the MF websites, this one is awesome, so supportive.

I did a search here for bacon bits and lots of posts came up but I am not able to find the answer to my question.

You know those soy-based bacon bits? May I put them on the green of my lean/grean as an extra???

I don't know the answer to your question, but I use real bacon bits (50% less fat) about once a week or so in my eggs, only 1 tsp.

It has been addressed before and I believe the answer was that they were okay, just watch the fat content. Here is the thread that discusses them.
