Went shopping at Kohl's for a little "bling" for my outfit tonight. Saw some really fantastic looking wristwatches and decided to try some on. Most of the ones I have at home are the big clunky ones with the big wide straps. You know, the kind with the "extra" large wristband.

Well... this one really flashy looking chained number caught my eye .(Hmmmm, now attracted to bright shiny objects. Feeling my IQ drop 50 points....) But I thought there was no way I could wear one of those watches with a clasp. But turned out, I was wrong! Not only did it fit, but it was actually kind of loose! So I bought 3! Gee this is fun. Now I need to find a better paying job to support my wristwatch addiction.

Also, yesterday I had my lean and green at Chipotle's (Love those chicken bols).. and suddenly realized that I had no problem navigating between the tables. Always had to sit on the "outside" because trying to get into the "inner circle" of tables was always fraught with so much danger for both me and the customers I had to maneuver around. So I guess losing weight is taking away a lot of "anxieties" I used to have in crowds.

WTG mellowmom!! you are doing great!! and pretty soon you will be able to get in your car even if the person next to you is only 7 inches from your door!!!! I can't wait for that too!!!

Very cool NSVs! The one about navigating tables at a restaurant is great, I had never thought about how difficult it can be sometimes.

How fun for you Carmel! Now that those bright shiny objects made your I.Q. drop, make sure that you don't wear all THREE new watches at once. :-P

Carmel that is so great and I am sure most of us can relate to that! That's so exciting! And hey, shiny objects are a good thing, WHEN you want to be noticed, and it sounds like that is how you are becoming!

Carmel ~ Unfortunately, I've always had a wristwatch addiction. Just bought a new stainless steel Citizen watch on Friday to go with the new purse and the new job. I'm always looking for an excuse to buy another watch.
