I agree you guys. I think nuts is my forbidden food. Nancy I am EXACTLY like Terry!!! I will count out 10 eat them then go count out ten more...need I say more. So nuts is banned from my pantry :( :( Gosh I feel sad already...maybe this will inspire a poem... Ode to Nuts :roll: :roll: :roll:

I wish I had a true answer to your behavioral problem, but I don't!

The only thing I can tell you is" get angry" get to that “ Fed up and sick of being fat place” Really! It will fuel you hopefully to your goal!

Well I got Angry last weekend, and I have not strayed since then. Yes I know it’s been only been 3 days and 7lbs gone. BUT this time I am 98% sure that there won't be any relapse. It's incomprehensible! Since I have slipped and slid for 6 months. And I do admit that each time I got back on Medifast, I didn’t have the anger, thus I fell back hard.
This time, I DON”T WANT FAT ANYMORE. I hit that Fed-up wall that fueled me the first round on Medifast. And honestly, I learned something…it’s up to me. IF the load of my desire is heavy than determination will come along. I do have a lot Anger in me. The last few days feel so simple to me, “ Just do it” is the order of the day….and had I been angry and fed up sooner, I’d be at goal. Let me tell you, I’m not proud of myself. This is no longer a game for me. It’s a one-way street with no way of turning back. That’s it!
Hope you find the “ Anger” too.

Hey to All...and thank you for your posts...YOU ARE ALL SO GREAT!! its amazing how much support you get here!!
I just got in from a 36 hour shift...it was long and grooling..but I had my 5 shakes...and an extra to just give me the energy i needed to keep up with my job...
its that dreaded day...the one that you want to eat everything in sight..but instead...I am going to go for a walk...think alot...reflect on what I want and where I want to be....and Join Landy and the rest of you go getters....on a long walk..and some exercise!!
that is...after I have a shake and take a short nap!! :)
thanks guys..you really know how to lift me up!!

Way to go, Tami! You know, you don't even need to take a "long" walk. My pedometer clicked off over 12,500 steps yesterday, and my extended walk was only for one mile. Of course, I spent my hour in the gym, but I'm tellin' ya, the steps mount up fast! Just MOVE! Everytime I leave my desk and go to the restroom, it's a 200-step round trip! You being a fireman and EMT, there's just no telling how many you'd collect by the end of the day. Give it a try!

Hey, Nancy, what do you think about registering MakeMeThinner as a team on the America On the Move Website? We could all start logging our exercise there, either in steps or minutes, and keep track of our progress. You and Unca take a look and see if you think it would work for all of us.
