Back for Round 2!!

Postby cacky » May 16th, 2006, 2:46 pm

Well, here I am again..for round 2! I lost 20 pounds my first month on Medifast! Yippee!! Did great for a few months and then got so overwhelmed at work and would go out to eat at lunch just to relieve stress...needless to say, I gained about 8 lbs back over the past few months. :( However, I woke up Monday morning and decided that I wasn't going to let stress get the best of me...I started back on my Medifast and feel great!! Going for 40 lbs!

Thank you all! I'm down 5 lbs in a week...would have probably lost more but I'm now doing weight training so I think that adds some muscle weight - I can definitely tell I've lost inches though! Its so great to be back! Good luck to all as well!

Hey there, Cackydoodle! Ya ought to be wrapping up week # 2 - how are ya doing so far?

Sometimes getting back in gear can take some serious self-talk. Being on a weight loss program is never a piece of cake but we know when it is needful - sometimes when we look at with a different perspective - looking at what we gain when we lose, it makes it a whole lost easier.

Losers gain...

improved self-esteem
positive self-respect
improved quality of life
the ability to walk without huffage and puffage
gladness from being able to shop in regular size dept stores
confidence from accomplishing a hard thing
lower cholesterol
fewer prescription drugs
freedom to travel comfortably
confidence when undressing
etc.

See?

Looky at all the things we GAIN from losing!
Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...
