Back after a looong absence

Postby Seaside » April 4th, 2006, 1:29 pm

Hi, All! I don't recognize many of the names on the board, which means that

a) I have been gone a long time
b) Everyone I knew has moved on to Thinner Pastures (yay!)

In any case, Seaside here in sunny Florida. I dropped out of sight last August after a job change -- a happy one -- and then we bought a house, so it's been crazy. Oh yeah, and there were just a FEW hurricanes in this neck of the woods at that time last year. :bricks: Now I am working full time, teaching part time and going to school myself part time but I decided there was no time like now to get back to shakin'!!

I've decided not to weigh myself for a few weeks (it is too depressing to think that I gained weight BACK!) but I've been following the plan for the past 3-4 days and already feel better. I look forward to chatting with all of you and gaining inspiration from hearing your stories!

Welcome back Seaside!

The posters may be different, but we're full of energy! You KNOW this plan works and you KNOW how to do it, and I'm so happy you've already been back on for 3-4 days!

I hope to talk to you often! Nice to meet you!

Hi, Seaside! Glad to see you've come back. Where in Florida do you live? There's an area close to us called Seaside. We live in the Panhandle, near Destin (Between Pensacola & Panama City). Anyway, I look forward to "seeing" you around! :D

Hey SEASIDE,

I'm not the first and I won't be the last to welcome you back into the MF fold. A lot may have changed , but you'll find the best support group 'known to man' right here on this forum.

GOOD ON YOU! :bravo:

Thanks, Everyone! It is nice to meet all of you. Good to hear that there are some other Floridians on the board, too! I live in St. Pete but commute to Tampa every day, Medifast shake by my side (any of you who drive on I-275 know that this is actually a very risky thing to do!)

I appreciate all the support, too! I truly feel that the program, good as it is, would not be as successful w/o having all you wonderful folks out there to cheer, prod, commiserate and just plain "be there" for everyone else. Thanks!

Welcome Back

Postby susan77 » April 5th, 2006, 9:12 am

Welcome back.

I live in sunny Florida too in the Palm Beach County area. I hear there are others from Florida too that post right here. It is great that you have already started for 3-4 days. I am a newbie and have lost 12-1/2 pounds in 12 days. Since this plan lets you lose at such a fast rate it is really motivating. Good luck and I look forward to reading your upcoming posts about your big weight loss.
