I've seen a lot of people in recent weeks that I haven't seen for quite some time, so I thought I'd record some of the compliments and NSVs I've received incase I need them for weaker days, or if I just want to come here and gloat! I don't intend for this to sound like I'm bragging it's just a testament to the positive feedback I've been getting since starting MF.
My dad did not see me at Christmas because he was sick, so the last time he saw me I was weighing 190 lbs. None of my family told him I was on a diet. He couldn't believe it when he saw me. He said when he first glanced at me he thought I was my 12 year old neice. He had to do a double take!
I saw someone I worked with 16 years ago. He said Tracy you haven't changed a bit. You look exactly the same! That one blew me away.
My aunt told my mom (now remember, we are from the south!) "Boy, that Tracy is an eye full!" Yes, that's a considered a compliment down here!
Yesterday I had lunch with a former co-worker I hadn't seen in a couple of years. He told me I look like a million bucks.
My sister-in-law, my 12 year old neice and I are going on a spring break cruise at the end of March. Last weekend I took my neice shopping for dresses for dinner. We bought the same size dresses!! I must admit she's pretty voluptuous for a 12 year old, she'll be 13 in a couple of months, besides that she's 5 inches taller than me, but still....I'm wearing the same size as a 7th grader!! I can't wait for that cruise. We are going to have the best time. The two of then have barely been out of Arkansas so I can't wait until they see what's out there waiting for then to explore.
Last but not least I was at my mom's last weekend and as mothers do, she picked up some of my dirty clothes and washed them. Well I never dry my jeans, I always hang them to dry in fear of shrinkage. She DRIED my jeans!! I was scared to put them on fearing I'd be busting out the seams. Guess what they fit perfectly! No more waiting hours for a pair of jeans to dry.
Needless to say, choosing MF last July was an excellent decision! I'm so happy that I stuck with it and even returned to finish up to goal. Maybe it was all these NSVs that gave me the nudge I needed to push on toward my goal....
