Awesome NSV

Postby TonyR » March 15th, 2007, 7:15 pm

Well I have had people have to do a double take to make sure that they are seeing me right, that I am really me, but today took the cake!!

A guy at work needed to stop by and get some paperwork from me, and I think the last time I had actually seen him is when he moved me from one desk to a different one (he works in the IT department) which was at least 8-10 months ago which would have put me right around me starting the program.

He walked by the row I work in and remembered I had moved then walked up the row where I was at (I was on the phone) and he had to ask where I sat, all the while I am sitting there watching him....When the lady pointed to me he turned around and said...oh my gosh, wow, I didn't even know that was you!! You look amazing!! After he left I told the gals around me that, boy it is easy to hide from people now if they ever knew me before!!

You could have said, "Naw, they fired Tony about six months ago. Where have you been?"

That sounded like fun.

Anyone know how to get your passport picture updated? I'm looking forward to having to do that in a few months. And with examples like Jo, Tony, BDG, Horselady, Lauren, etc. I can believe it will happen.:-P

I would call your local passport office. Only problem I can see now is the delay in getting them processed if you have any deadline. I heard today that the wait is almost double the normal with all the applicants.

Hopefully by the time I need it updated, things will have settled down at the Passport office.
