Hi, Kids ~

Just got back from spending the day in Portland with my Mom.

We've got some really juicy news: my Daddy is coming home TOMORROW,
Jan. 13th - exactly TWO months after having a massive heart attack.

What a blessing! Thank you all for your prayers and kind words – your encouragement is tremendous and we appreciate you so much.

The college where I work was closed last week due to snow and ice
and I was able to work on the Forum and finish up the January Newsletter while we were ice-bound.

Many thanks to Unca Tim for all he does tech-wise to assist us so that we can bring you the latest and best information.

I will be away from the keyboards for a while - my Mom is having surgery at the end of January and my parents will need to have me check in on them for a while after I get off work.

My brother has been wonderful to be available and so willing and able to assist my parents during this difficult time. I love my baby brother! Alas, he is going out of town this next week so I will be needed more at my Mom and Daddy’s house.

OF COURSE I will be checking in on things and Terry and Unca
will keep me apprised of anything that needs my immediate attention but I will be unable to reply as much as I want to and as much as I have done in the past until my family is in order.

I love ya, MakeMeThinner Forum Folks but Terry, the favorite daughter, the 2 Uncas (Tim and my brother David) and Mom and Daddy come before the Forum.

I’ll be back as soon as I can but just know that I won’t be able to post as often as I want to.

Hi, Guys ~

Thanks for missing me. I'm hardly gone.

My DADDY came home today! Woo Hoo!

Sheesh! I am making sure that Terry and Unca take good care of themselves - my Daddy has to take 17 pills per day!

My brother just started on Medifast today and I am so proud of him and so happy - I love my baby brother and I want him to live long and prosper.

Since our Dad just had that heart attack, it means that our family must choose to eat the healthy weigh. I don't wanna have to sort thru 17 pill bottles to figure out what to take and when to take it! I am so glad that I am a Medifast Girl!

I am healthier and have more energy than I did when I was in my twenties and thirties. Look out, world, here we come!

He had a good day. Mom is wiped out but we'll make it by His grace and goodness.
