Artichoke question

Hello all

:D

I wondered if we can have a artichoke IF WE DO NOT HAVE THE BUTTER???

they were $1.00 today at the store wow oh wow never see them for less then $ 4.00 here

so i wanted to have one i can eat just the artichoke with out the butter but didnt no if we could even have that..

Not on the list... sorry. Lots of fat and extra carbs. You could get away with a fiew pieces of hearts, but not an entier choke. I know what you mean though... I miss em myself.

Fat??? In an artichoke? Not if you cook it yourself. It's not even all that carby, but it's higher than Medifast allows.

Oops.. yeah, guess I was thinking with mayo. In fact... I still wonder why they don't allow them. Maybe its for the lack of vitamins... because for a med choke, its 4 net carbs... 1 sugar.

I admit, I had 'em sometimes while I was on the program, but I wasn't exactly a stickler for the rules. I dip 'em in a wee bit of balsamic vinegar usually. Mmmmm.
