It's not so bad once the numbness sets it :roflmao:

Seriously though I'm in another pair today, same size and I'm feelin' just fine. Couldn't wear these just a few days ago.

Getting my hair done on Friday. The first time in sooo long. I always put it off way to long. My roots are like 3 inches and my ends are so dead. My hair right now is at bra strap level and I'm going up to the shoulder, plus getting my roots done. I'm excited. It always feels so good to get your hair done and look pretty if just for one day.

Down again today! Yippee. Last day of work for me this week. Three day weekend is mere hours away!!! Yup, can't wait to go to the salon tomorrow. It's a new salon I've not been to before and they have a website that looks great so I'm really looking forward to it. I shoulda' scheduled a massage or something else. Oh well next time.

So I was reading the paper this morning and it turns out one of my clients was arrested for sexually abusing some of her 13 foster children. Yikes!!! That really creeps me out. She was always wierd and very bitchy, but you just don't know about people. Very sad for those kids, very sad.

How creepy. Of course, if she was arrested, she's only SUSPECTED of doing it. But still.

Any hint that she mistreated the animals in any way?

Ahhh...it's Friday and I have it off. Slept in, then poured a nice cuppa and I'm enjoying the morning. Later I have a hair appointment at a new spa.

So yesterday I took a couple of small masses off my dog and scaled and polished his teeth. He's feeling a little low today. Won't have the pathoogy report on the masses for about 5 days. Probably nothing....

He's getin up there, about 9 years now and his muzzle is getting grey. So handsome but I worry too.

Bounced on the scale this morning, but I knew it was comming since the weight has been falling off like crazy. I'm still aready down another 3 pounds since last weigh in so I'm cool.

Awww, sorry about your dog. I hope he's feeling better soon. I understand the worry, though. They don't live NEARLY long enough.

Enjoy the spa/salon!

How neat that you have the knowledge, talent and ability to take care of your own animals (I'm guessing you are a vet). I need to make an appointment to my vet for one of my dogs. He has a round pearl sized mass in his lower eyelid that I need to know if it is something benign or if he needs it removed. I've hesitated to make the appointment, not knowing if I should be taking him to a veterinary optimologist or if our regular vet is the place to go. For those types of decisions, it would be great to have more knowledge......although you spent a lot of years going to school and studying to be able to make those decisions. :D Guess, I'll leave decision making up to the pros and start with my reg. vet.

Heck, yeah. Teemu went to a veterinary ophthalmologist at one point when I was concerned about his vision. They don't use eye charts, obviously. But they had me stand in a room with a bunch of obstacles set up, and they made him find his way to me.
