Good morning ladies! I'm here! Thanks for stopping by T! I'm dealing with a very demanding baby today. I don't know how you can do it with two at a time.
I have located a backpack carrier and have gotten a return email from the lady getting rid of it. Hopefully she'll return my call today and I can pick it up tonight or tomorrow. Then I'll go cave walking for the day on Saturday.
I'm glad I can entertain you OC! I entertain the baby all day I might as well entertain some adults too right?
Katie, it is absolutely gorgeous down here in San Antone! It was a cool 66 when I walked the kids to school this morning. Supposed to be in the low to mid 90's the rest of the week. Not too bad when it isn't too humid.
Kids ages-oldest (son) turned 10 at Christmas, oldest daughter turned 9 at Thanksgiving, middle daughter turned 7 last month and baby girl will be two at the end of the month.
My kids definitely keep me busy. Well busier than I'm used to but I DO love it. We have scouts two nights a week--son is in boy scouts too. And with the warmer weather we have been taking family walks at night after dinner. Plus the whole reason we moved cross country was so I could be the happy stay at home mom that I used to be.
You're gonna get me going on a mini rant here...I LOVED my job. I used to work with developmentally disabled adults in a group home setting (think of your own house). Trying to teach them everything from how to shower to how to cook dinner. It was a great job until I started moving up and started supervising. Not liking that so much. When I quit I was running my own house. Anyway, when there were only three kids and I was doing that it was great. All the kids were in school and I only worked evenings one night a week and then a few hours one weekend each month. Well, when I got pregnant and then had baby I wasn't so happy with the job. I had to carry a pager every other week because we were so short staffed. And when baby was little she was colicky. So, daycares didn't want to deal with her.
So, finally, I can stay home and do that which I enjoy most-be mommy. Like I said earlier, baby is being demanding right now but mostly it's just for my attention. She wants to 'read' and wants me to sit with her. It's worth every minute when she's sitting next to me and looks up and say "wuv you mommy'. Or hollars 'kisses, kisses' when I tell her I'll be right back cause I need to use the bathroom.
Okay, going to go find the measurements I took this morning and post them on the challenge thread and then here. Gotta go up to my bathroom to get the paper.
Be back after I get her down for a nap.
