OK, here's the scoop. My husband
loved the syrup idea and that's all I'm gonna say about that.
He did surprise me and wisked me away

to dinner and a movie. I was very worried about eating out but I think I did pretty good. We went to Red Lobster because they are having that 30 shrimp deal. Never fear,
I did not eat all 30 shrimp. I did eat about 17 though. I ordered all of my shrimp in scampi style.......... I love it that way..

........but I'm sure all of that butter wasn't good for me. I had a
salad with the low cal red vinigerette dressing and I order steamed
broccoli instead of a potato.
I could not believe how quickly I felt full. Of course, I was eating like there was no tomorrow.

I had to slow myself down a bit. I ate all of the salad, except the croutons. I barely touched the
broccoli because I was feeling very full. The most amazing thing was......... I did not eat any of the cheddar garlic biscuits........not even a nibble.
We went and saw
The Interpreter. I liked it, but I think they built it up to be a better movie than it was. (don't they always) Since it was my bday, I could have gotten popcorn for free, but we passed.
All in all I feel it was a
successful night........
