APOLOGY

Questions/Comments about Weight loss Products.

Why?

Postby gillian » April 16th, 2006, 10:11 pm

Gosh! After the apology by Vicky, I HAD to read the entire Cracker thread. Why would you say that you are sorry for saying what looks like the truth? Honestly, look at it like this- in a church, how many pastors or church leaders, are going to go around letting one person poisen the entire bunch? I mentioned church, because Angie mentioned church. How about in the lab she works in? Do you think management will let her go around, in the lab, saying there are other labs that are better or less money? How long do you think the establishment would tolerate that? Why would YOU say you are sorry for saying something you believe in? It is totally cool what you said. It is also America, and therefore totally cool what Angie said. Don't focus too much on the negitive crap. If someone can find a better, cheaper way to lose the weight, go for it!
It was a cracker thread for goodness sake. Let Angie go. If she uses MF 1/2 the time- no one honestly cares. If you can't afford it, that is terrible- I am sorry- we all are. I agree with Vicky in the first statement- don't get on here and bash something that is working for us! (that many of us are struggling to afford!) Make your choice. It does not matter to me, what diet plan you go on- Ill see you at the pool in July, and I assure you, when you see my swimsuit, you will have to agree, it was all money well spent.

Vicky, I read your posts last week on that thread. I feel you actually contributed to the TRUTH. This IS a medifast board. We are all using MEDIFAST. Most of us are loving it! Most who begin bashing it, I said MOST, do so because they aren't sticking to it AND rather that take resposiblity for it, they bash the plan, the expense, the HA's and even sweet Nancy and Terri. You spoke the truth. You set the record straight and any newbie reading that threat would probably feel the same way AND feel reassured after reading your post. So, lady, give yourself a break and don't be afraid to speak up for what is right and NEVER apologize for it :) We love you!!!

Vicky,

Everyone on here knows how big your heart is and even though the rest of you is shrinking your heart continues to grow and grow. Honestly I think you posted what the rest of us were thinking.

For most of us here, or at least me personally, this program literally saved my life and that makes it very dear to my heart.

We all love you and like I told you personally Angie is free to chose whatever weight loss program she wants, however, I would love to get together with her in 6 months and compare our losses!

IMHO--No apology needed

Love ya

Well, to be completely upfront, I LOVE Medifast and what it is doing for me, and would not go anywhere else (don't trust any other company, this one is PROVEN), BUT it IS expensive. That's the truth. I am almost out of supplies and I sure hope we can afford to get more so I can continue to lose. I am NOT going to cancel our vacation to Savannah to buy Medifast though. :(

Count me in here, too. Like I've said a zillion times on here, my losses are much slower than the average no matter how closely I stick to the program, BUT at least I'm losing - and that's more than I can say for other programs. Would those similar programs out there get me the same results? Maybe. But I'm willing to pay more to stick to the program tested and used by Johns Hopkins.

People are free to choose any program they want to, and if it works for them, I'm all for it. But if you're interested in bashing Medifast or the people associated with it, I don't think this is the appropriate place.

<img alt="Myspace layouts" border="0" src="http://content21.bigoo.ws/content/gif/sports/sports_151.gif">

LOL!

And Vicky, I was not offended. Just a little shocked that talk of crackers got as out of sorts as it did.... I hope you don't think that I had any problem with anything you said. I actually was kinda tickled about the whole thing, and I know you didn't mean anything negative at all. I hope you know that I certainly didn't either and I certainly agreed with your support of the people who run this board and pay for it... I would never have said anything negative about them or this product. It is working for me... I love it....

I am like everyone else, just very grateful to have such a wonderful forum to be able to use to help me in this journey....

FACT: Medifast works !

Don't worry about it. The cracker thread has been taken over by discussions about leather, leopards, daddies, and other non-cracker related things.
