Anyone see Over the Hedge?

Postby BoPeep1 » May 28th, 2006, 5:48 am

I took my daughter to the drive-in last night to see this and it hit home regarding food.

Even though it's from an animal's point of view, in the beginning they talked about how humans just keep eating and eating and how food has become so important in their lives.

I really hope that I will come out of this with an understanding that food is fuel and not a pleasure activity.

Yep...saw the movie last night with the family.

If we had to forage for our food I am sure things would be a lot different!

Saw it a couple of weeks ago. It was at that movie that I had my infamous leg crossing epiphany. "Look Ma...no hands!!"

Oh my gosh, I was thinking exactly the same thing when we saw it yesterday. So true.

I really want to see it. I'm a sucker for animated films, the only downside is that I usually go to movies by myself (it's a personal choice, because most of my friends like to talk in movies and I hate it)...and I don't want parents wondering why a 300 pounds man is at a kids movie by himself!

I also really want to see this because it features 5 new Ben Folds songs...and he is my idol.

One of the Ben Folds songs was hilarious. I made my friend stay through the credits so I could hear that and the next one.

I'm assuming they closed with the new version of Rockin' The Suburbs with William Shatner?

Sorry, can't remember for sure. I think that was the song I really liked, though the penultimate one. The closing song was not quite as good, I thought.
