Anyone out there?

Postby Crystal » March 26th, 2006, 7:50 pm

Who has about the same statistics and amount of weight to lose as I do? I would sure like to find someone to share this journey with. :stroll:

I am 5'3, and weigh 148, and have a goal of around 120-125, so I have about 25-30 lbs left to lose.

I feel so all alone in this... :( no one I know is dieting right now. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks!

I'm really tall and really large compared to you, but I just wanted to post and let you know that YOU'RE NOT ALONE! We're ALL here for you! We're all walking each other through this journey, hand in hand. If one of us falls, WE ALL pick that person up!

I hope you find a buddy in your target zone, I just wanted to let you know you're not alone!

I'm an inch shorter, but I guess we have similar stats now (of course, I've already lost 50 pounds to get to this point!). But you're definitely not alone here. We're all at various points in our weight loss, and we all know what it feels like to be overweight (whether it's 20 pounds or 200).

Thanks, DeDe and Robin! I guess its just easy to feel kind of isolated when I can't eat things those around me are eating. I reckon I'll just have to spend more time on the boards. I know I'm getting closer to the end of this...I weighed around 180 when I first started this weight loss phase. I just don't want to feel this way anymore.

For me, it helps that people around me actually get a little envious of MY food sometimes. That, and hearing people complain that they can't lose weight - and then down a bunch of fast food and a milkshake. I just smile to myself and eat my chocolate pudding.

Yay!!! :cleader: Hi, Mickey! It's nice to know that you're out there. The last few weeks have been difficult because I have had a hard time getting all my supplements and water in each day. I have five children seven and under, and I am homeschooling 2 of them. But, I think I have a schedule that will work now, and I lost 4 lbs last week! I went shopping with my sister last week, and was able to try on 12's and that was a great surprise!

Now that I am back in a "groove" I feel like I can do this.
