Anyone else experience this?? (not for the faint of heart)

Postby MusicalMomma » January 30th, 2007, 1:44 pm

I apologize in advance for the grossness of this question, but I have an "issue" and wondered if it's just me or if anyone else has had this experience...

OK...here goes...I have found that on days that I have mf chili, I tend to get the runs (sorry again). On days I don't eat chili, I seem to be fine.

Anyone else have this happen? Anyone know WHY this would happen? Is it all in my head???

A reaction to the beans, maybe? The extra fiber? Dunno. But nope, haven't had it happen.

I've been eating the chili since the beginning and no I have not noticed anything like that, do you put anything on it?
I use 1 T Rotel and some FF sour cream, very little and the crackers.

Hmmm ... Maybe I will try some on Saturday --- it may enhance the results of my Sunday weigh-in! :bananadance:

Seriously ... I haven't had that kind of side effect from chili that I am aware of. I will pay closer attention next time I have it though.

Okay---Ya'll all know how LITTLE I like the chili. You know, hate is a really strong word. Anyway-----could it be that your body is just trying to get that nasty sh#t out as fast as it can??

Yes, I got it. And I had it, and that is PRECISELY why I don't like the chili. Plus, the taste of it. YUCK

Chili

Postby fairladyj » February 1st, 2007, 10:16 am

I must be weird - the chili is actually my favorite! However, I always use bullion in my soups - Wyler's makes a Beef and Garlic that really helps out. I find that all the soups tend to be bland for my taste, so the boullion helps - plus its easy to keep in my desk drawer along with my packets.

You're not weird - at least not for THAT reason. :) The chili's always been my favorite of the soup-type stuff, too.
