Anybody else feel like this is a dream?

Postby lilgorg » June 16th, 2006, 11:48 am

Ok, I finally made my way over to my in-laws last night for my weigh in and guess what? I am down 28.5 lbs!!! I know, I know. I was in shock too. In so much shock, I got off the scale and had to weigh 3 times to be sure! I can totally feel the difference in the way I move and feel. So that’s 28.5 lbs in 34 days! :D I never would’ve imagined this a month and a half ago when my work hubby sent me an IM saying “let’s try this”…now I’m on a roll.

I have so much energy. I’m bursting at the seams. Even today, I’m wearing this cute azz shirt I have that I haven’t been able to wear in over a year! I walk around the city with such a silly grin all the time. I know the folks of Cali must think I’m absolutely CRAZY. I feel like I’m in this awesome dream, starring me, and I don’t wanna wake up…

It’s scary cuz I feel that I have become like the regulars up in here with my claims of “this is the easiest thing I’ve ever done”, “I’m never hungry”, “I have to set my alarm to eat”, etc, etc…But it’s all true so to those newbies out there or those thinking about doing this…do it! Just get through that first week and life will be so good after that!

Have a great Friday and here’s to me knocking down the door to that Dirty Thirty club! (hopefully by Monday)

I know what you mean. Some days I have to pinch myself b/c it feels like a dream. Happy Friday to you, as well!!!

heheh.. Sometimes I have this irrational fear that I'll wake up one morning and realize my scale has been lying to me.

Last night I had a nightmare that I ate a whole bunch of bologna and cheese sandwiches. I woke up feeling so upset that I had ruined my diet. Then I realized it was all a dream. It's funny; although I didn't actually eat any of that food I still am feeling crappy today/guilty. Go figure!

You know its funny, I actually enjoy looking at my self in the mirror. Before I was like nope, not gonna look, now I in there just looking and seeing a difference. I feel great and I am looking better.

The first few months, I was afraid every single time I had to take my pants off - that they wouldn't fit when I put 'em back on!

Hi

Kim,
I'm SO happy for you! You are such an inspiration! Isn't the Medi-zone GREAT! I mean really, if we eat this food and follow this book exactly, aren't the results ASTOUNDING! Yes, sometimes it's hard, but LOOK at the rewards!

I walk around ALL THE TIME thinking this is a dream and I'm going to wake up with a dump truck butt again, but not so far...I'm also worried I'm going to wake up on Wildtrk's "other board", but that's a different problem!!!

You'll be kicking in the door to that 30# club in NO time! And the great part, is that your work hubby will be following right behind you! I love this plan! I love that this plan made it possible for me to meet AWESOME people like you and I LOVE the way I feel (and look) now!!!

Image KIM,

Awesome weight loss--over 28 pounds in 34 days! How wonderful you must feel!

On our recent trip, when I visited the ladies rooms with the gargantuan mirrors...where before I had slinked quickly by,
I actually stood there in amazement...gazing back at the image of that fantastic person I was becoming!

Excited for you, KIM, and for all of us!
