Any collectors of almost anything out there??

There was this guy in Lubbock who plead guilty to bilking his employer of nearly $78 million in April. They have seized his stuff and are having an auction on July 15. Yes, it a bit far to travel, but you cannot imagine the stuff. Firearms, farming equipment, sports equipment, numerous vehicles........it would literally take all day long to look at all of the photos on the auction site. But, if any of you are serious collectors of any type of stuff, some really great bargains are sure to be had. You can view the catalogue at ritchie bros auction dot com (or maybe net, not sure---I followed the link in our local newspaper), or you can get a free online access to the Amarillo Globe News, and read the full story and follow the link. That address is amarillo dot com. At least check out the list of stuff. It is amazing. We are going, and so is my dad. Provided he doesn't lose his a@@ in Vegas this weekend!!

I don't see any cookie jars, but I will look closer this weekend when we drive over for the preview. I copied the list of items, just so ya'll can see what there is. The site is rbauction dot com. There are photos of almost every item. There is a piano that I would love to have. It is a Circa 1888 (I think) baby grand, signed and numbered. I wouldn't mind having one of the Escalades, either!! Just go to the site, follow the "All Auctions" tab at the top of the screen, click on the "lubbock, TX" link and then click on "View Catalogue".

Hmmm, I don't see Eiffel Towers and Paris paintings on there. I'll look on the site

By the way, I just saw your note about Amarillo. We never ended up going b/c they had to pull my brother onto another team when thier catcher got hurt. He ended up going to Alexandria, LA. I wish we had gone, I would have made arrangments to meet up. We might still end up going later in the summer if the roster stays.
