I've been lurking around the boards for a while and thought I should finally post something. I started Medifast on June 3rd, so I'm just shy of the 3 week mark. (Down 15 lbs woot!)
For a little background, I'm 26 and started out at 254 lbs at only 5'5" and decided it was time to do something. I was diagnosed with Crohn's about 2 years ago, so I was pretty adjusted to cutting out some foods. This has made it so much easier and I haven't had anything close to a Crohn's moment since I started. At first I was concerned about excess skin, but I figure I'd rather have extra skin then the extra padding filling it out.
It's great to start seeing some results and I'm getting better at adjusting to eating so often. Plus there is the added bonus of being introduced to the wonderful world of tofu.
Anyways, just wanted to say hello and thank everyone for their encouragement and tips.
