And the Diagnostic Pants say...(holding envelope up to head)

Postby Seaside » April 14th, 2006, 7:08 am

...another successful week! My weekly weigh-ins start after next week (week 3) but til then I am using the tried-and-true "diagnostic pants" method. At the beginning of week 1 I couldn't get several pairs of pants even close to zipped . You know, I was sure that those cheapo clothing manufacturers were saving $$ by cutting my size way smaller. At the end of week 1, the pants zipped with some difficulty and I resembled a denim sausage -- but they zipped! It's Friday of Week 2 and not only did those pants zip, but another pair that wouldn't even CLOSE have zipped up like week 1 was just a bad dream.

Yay!!! Medifast rocks.

Hurrah for diagnostic pants! That's fantastic. Doesn't it feel great?

I love your description of the "denim sausage." I know exactly what that looks and feels like. It gave me a good giggle.

Keep up the good work!

The pants method is definitely a good one. I recently discovered that I could fit into my old pants and shirts. It's a good thing I saved all of my clothes, because now I can use them on the way down.

Diagnostic pants! :roflmao: I LOVE IT! I have a pair of "goal" levis that I can't get a leg into now, but I did well with the diagnostic 16's and am now eyeing the diagnostic 14's! I also have a belt that has notches all the way around it, it's the "inch belt" and it is currently six notches smaller! I totally understand the diagnostic pants!

You are doing really well, and not weighing all this time truly shows how committed you are! That's great! I'm happy for you...and your pants!

YEA for you!! Doesnt' that feel good. To be able to zip up jeans with out any help, without any hangers, without any pam, and without laying on the bed. Yes, I grew up in the 80's and I Loved Urban Cowboy. Back then I was thin and my jeans, well, the tighter the better. Now, I don't even have jeans. I am looking forward to having some again. Some that FIT of course!!

Isn't that the greatest feeling? I'm starting to pull stuff out of the back of my closest that haven't seen the light of day for over a year.

LOL! You sound like me. I have a pair of gap jeans size 10 from the late 80's..when a 10 was still a 10. Those are my goal jeans. I have a LONG ways to go to get into them, but they go up higher on me than they did before. LOL!
