I notice in the Q & A it says that I can have lean meat..no mention of fish???

Can I have fish instead of meat..broiled of course with no sauces etc.

this is what was said in the F&Q secion:

What can be in the 5 and 1 plan meal?
Your daily meal should consist of two things: a serving of lean meat and either a green salad or a serving of low-starch vegetables. For the meat serving, females should have between 4 to 5 ounces; males should have 6 to 7 ounces.

I would consider fish the leanest of all meats!! Have fun at the beach!

Thanks Tonya.....I would also think fish is the leanest and lowest in calorie but I guess a lot of people dont like fish. I could eat fresh fish every day :lol:

We are in the midst of remodelling out kitchen..been here for 27 years and this is the second remodel..they just gutted my kitchen today so I thought I could take a break over the weekend and head to the beach to recoup for the next phase.
