Joleen and I had a great time shopping in Georgetown. Here is just a little taste of our afternoon!
First came the now legendary purple socks



I brought Jo another gift from China but she chose to model the tiara I also got her!




After the gift exchange we had to get our nails done:




Then Jo had to start showing her spending power at Ann Taylor.




Then I caught her trying to take my pearls!



Then we went and played in a hat store:

Yes, we had a fun fun time shopping and I think we were able to get most of it historically charted with photos. One thing we forgot to get was the beautiful jewelry box from Hong Kong. I was just so excited to model my tiara that I forgot to snap a picture of the real gift. (thanks again, bebes)

I don't know why the socks look blue on my computer screen.....they really are purple - imagine sugar frosted violets......and they fit biki's tiny feet perfectly!

Though I actually got to touch the pearls, she wasn't parting with them gracefully and I didn't want to cause a scene.

I applied a champagne filter to bring out the purple. These look a lot closer. It also gives my ghostly legs a slight tan! I am also adding a pic of you that is just so cute it had to be posted even though your tiara is barely showing. The last one is for you, for reasons of which you are well aware.
