Oh no, not Lucy, shy bone in my body? I think not...she said she was shy... are you familiar with Confederate Railroads Trashy Women??? When I was 27 I did get invited to a SR prom...brazen? a bit, bold yeah, except I really go out of my way to try to be nice to people, especially strangers. Some bold people are just flat out witches...I try to be fun.

BUT fat has turned me into a stay at home and hide person, I have not gone out on the town in 12 years...it's still in me, when I have goaled I am taking up country dancing and want to learn Disco...back in the day I used to do competition country dancing LOVED IT

I won a Madonna dance contest once in college and have been accused of having a BIG personality.

I love it when someone says something so tackless in regards to my weight loss. To date my favorite was "Didn't you used to be really fat?" The grammar nazi in me did a double take and I went through a lot of possible responses. Most that would cause me to lose my job, I said "I don't know how to respond to that comment" and watched the poor woman squirm.
I've had family tell me that I need to stop losing weight and that they are worried about me, but they take my word for it that I am not in danger of being under weight and am completely healthy (well getting there).

I would have just said "Yes!!! How kind of you to remember!" and smiled my best Hollywood smile! When I first got heavy, jerks would ask me "What happened to YOU???" And I would smile and say "I got fat, didn't I?" That always shut them up.
