About to BURST with this secret!!!!

Postby MusicalMomma Reloaded » June 8th, 2006, 6:51 am

I can't tell ANYONE this secret here at home and I'm about to BURST. SO, I decided to share it with all of my medifast friends :)

Most of you read how my daughters boyfriend broke up with her (a week before her 15th birthday). WELL, at the crack of dawn this morning, I spoke to my mother on the phone...AND she & dad were 2 hours into a two day drive TO SURPRISE MEGAN FOR HER BIRTHDAY with a visit!!!!!!!

They are going to meet us at the McDonald's (don't worry I won't eat there) near our house. I'm going to tell the kids I'm taking them there to celebrate the last day of school and there, they will "run into" nana and pop pop!!!!

OH I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!! I get to see my family AND see a smile on Megan's face!!!!!

Thanks for letting me share :)

That is so awesome Joyce!!! What a wonderful surprise and blessing. I also love how you qualified that YOU weren't going to eat at McDonald's - that made me chuckle.

What a secret to have to hold on to!!!!

Joyce, that is a wonderful surprise. When your daughter sees her Grandparents she will totally forget about that jerk of an ex-boyfriend. Hope you have a wonderful time celebrating her Birthday ! :D

There isn't much that life can dish out that Grandparent Love can't fix. This my be what your daughter needs to remind her of all the wonderful things in the world that await her without what's-his-name, anyway. :partytime:

Awwww, Joyce, I am thrilled for you! Your parent sound alot like mine. I mis thm soooo much. They usually make alot of road trips to visit us wherever the military snds us, only this time, there is an ocean in the way. :( They have only been able to come out here once since weve been hre, with airfares costing so much and all. Hopefully within this next year, we will either get orders back to North Carolina, or Arizona. Anywhere would be better than here. Hawaii is a beautiful place, to visit, but its too far away from everyone if you live here. Cant wait til my folks can drive to se me again. Have fun with them, and cherish every single moment you get to spnd together, which I am sure you will. Have your parents seen you since you have lot weight? I know they will think you look great in any case. You are a very special mom to your daughter, and I think its pretty obvious where you get it from, having such loving parents yourself. Have a blast!
